They are not covered under our warranty!IMEI Numbers Importance:  Every Nextel phone has what is called and IMEI number, this number is unique to each phone, like a social security number. If you intend to activate a new line, purchase insurance for your phone, or add the phone onto your existing contract you will need the IMEI number. It is possible when purchasing a used phone; that the phone may still be active under the previous owners account, reported lost, or reported stolen. If this is the case, you will still be able to use the phone with no functionality problems, however you will not be able to attach the phone to your contract in any way. IMPORTANT Information Regarding our IMEI policy:  We purchase our phones as used, and have no knowledge of any phones relationship to Nextel. If you wish to attach a phone purchased from us to your contract, you will need to request the imei number so that you can check it with Nextel before the phone has shipped. Please email us a request for the imei number after the phone has been purchased, we will promptly reply with the imei number. Once we have emailed you the imei number, your shipment will be placed on hold until we receive confirmation from you, that the phone is clear to ship.
