Currently iphone 3gs are locked to ATT but however we have unlocked them through some tricks and special sim cards, so bascially now you can use my iphone 3g with any GSM network. My unlock will not avoid your manufactor warranty at all because no hardware is opened, changed or upgraded. what is Jaillock? Basically Att and Apple has locked Iphone 3g to att and itunes which means they can only get programs through apple store only and pay them whole bunch of money and there are also certain things apple dont want you to do such as downloading files directly on iphone or download youtube video, you cant send or receive videos or pictures. what is Jailbreak? Basically jail break will not unlock Network lock but it will unlock everything else which means you will be able to download 100s of games, programs,wallpapers, any video on from youtube and download files directly on iphone for free instead of paying whole bunch of money to apple or ATT. you will also be able to download Google maps which means you will no longer need data plan or internet access in order to navigate or use GPS.It will also unlock Wifi so that you can use VOIP programs and make free phone calls at no cost.
